Bridal makeup studio

Makeup that still looks like you at midnight

Bright Ward is a small bridal studio built around skin-first preparation and long-wearing finishes. Quiet mornings, honest mirrors, and a look that photographs the way it feels in the room.

The approach

Prepared skin first, product second

Most of a wedding look is decided before any colour goes on. We spend the first part of every session on skin — warmth, hydration, texture — so the makeup sits lightly instead of covering. What follows is a finish chosen for your fabric, your light and how long your day actually runs.

  • Skin-first prep A short, calm routine matched to your skin on the day, not a fixed formula.
  • Long-wear finish Built to hold through photographs, weather changes and a full evening of dancing.
  • Timed to your morning A written running order so the room stays unhurried from first face to last.

How booking works

Three steps, no guesswork

From first message to the wedding morning, you always know what comes next.

1

Send an enquiry

Tell us the date, the venue area and how many people need makeup. You'll get a written reply with availability and an estimate.

2

Book your trial

We hold the date, then meet in the studio to build the look together and agree the running order for the morning.

3

Wedding morning

The kit arrives set up and on schedule. We work through the party, finish with the bride, and stay for a final check.

Questions

Before you enquire

Do you travel to the venue?

Yes. Wedding-morning bookings are done wherever you are getting ready, and travel is included in the estimate you receive after enquiring. Trials take place in the studio.

How long does each person take?

Plan for roughly an hour for the bride and around forty minutes for each additional person. The exact running order is written out after the trial so the morning has breathing room.

Will the makeup last all day?

It is built to. Prep, setting and product choice are all made around your skin type and the length of your day, and you leave the morning with a small touch-up plan in writing.

How far ahead should I book?

Dates in peak season tend to be held early, so it is worth enquiring as soon as your venue is confirmed. If the date is already taken, we will say so straight away.
